From Summer to Autumn – Embracing Change

I am certainly one for dragging out summer for as long as possible, but as I explained to Adam, last night, once I’ve purchased a coat, that’s it, summer is officially over.  The fire has been lit, the summer wear has been packed away and the cozy knitwear is back! Yay!
As much as I adore the warmer months, Autumn/Winter fashion, is my preference, I really feel like my style greatly improves over the colder months, because I just love to develop my capsule wardrobe for this season.

But before the frost hits, there’s always that awkward transitional weather, when I’m not quite ready to pack away the summer dresses.  So I’m loving that leather biker jackets are having their moment this season and have been great, for layering over some of my summer dresses.  Thigh high boots and sock boots have also been a marvellous addition to my wardrobe.
These photos are from a few weeks ago, I wasn’t going to post these, but I thought they were too pretty not to and very autumnal.

I’ve been building my capsule Autumn/winter wardrobe, over the last couple of weeks and a few key pieces arrived today, which I cannot wait to show you! There are some 70’s vibes going on, for sure, with the introduction of a beautiful pair of black flared jeans, which I am so happy are having a moment, because I am over the skinny jeans trend.
With this new season, has come some major changes to the way ill be blogging.  As you have probably noticed, I have a brand new theme, which I am incredibly happy with, but it definitely shows the flaws in some of the photography! Thankfully, I’ve got my head around this issue now and with the help of some new photography equipment, you’ll be seeing some greatly improved content soon! I am loving creating videos for you and will continue to upload every week! I’ve got a massive haul, coming your way and I cannot wait!  We’ve got loads of ideas for blog content too and we’ve even got a drone to up my filming game!

Watch this space!
